Protocol Updates

Julien couldn't attend this week's meeting so that we will receive further protocol updates by next week. Don't forget to consider applying to the trading competition, which is open until the 17th of April.

Operations and Coordination

• Optimism Application:
  Huge thanks to Lana and Julien for submitting our application to Optimism! This is a fantastic opportunity to expand Unlock Protocol’s reach and be on the radar of one of the most vibrant ecosystems in the space. Fingers crossed for some great news soon!

• Role Designs Update:
  Leah Sams is doing an incredible job refining the NFT role designs. These modular visuals will allow us to celebrate and showcase individual contributions within the DAO. Stay tuned for their release—you’re going to love them! In the meantime, follow Leah on socials, as her work is incredible!

• Support Us on Gitcoin GG23:
  We’re thrilled to participate in Gitcoin’s GG23 round! This is a chance for our community to make a real impact through quadratic funding. Even small contributions matter—invite your friends, family, and network to support Unlock Protocol! Together, we can achieve amazing results.

• Devcon Forum Advocacy:
  We’re making waves on the Devcon Forum by advocating for decentralized ticketing tools at Devconconnect (November 2025 in Argentina). Let’s show the world what Unlock Protocol can do in event management! Please comment on the thread and help us push for protocol representation at Devconnect!

• Upcoming Community Spotlight:
  Starting soon, we’ll pick up a content stream that used to be successful: Community Spotlights. First up will be our fabulous Marketing & Communications Steward, Ceci Sakura. We can’t wait to celebrate the amazing people who make this community so special—stay tuned!

Finances & Resources

• ApeBonds Status:
  blahkheart provided updates on ApeBonds and PR reviews, focusing on optimizing our resources. Thank you for keeping us on track! The proposal is now live onchain here.

• Ninja Promo Payments:
  We’re still monitoring Ethereum price fluctuations before finalizing payments to Ninja Promo. A big shoutout to David for keeping a close eye on this—it’s all about making smart financial decisions for our DAO.

• Exploring Viable Business Cases:
  David and I are leading efforts to identify sustainable business models that align with our values while ensuring long-term growth. This is an exciting step toward scaling Unlock Protocol while staying true to our mission.

  
  

Marketing & Communications

• Buyer Persona Proposal Finalization:
  Kudos to Soho for putting the finishing touches on the updated version of the Buyer Persona proposal! This will help us better understand our users and create more impactful marketing strategies. Vote on it now via Snapshot here.

• Content Strategy Completion:
  I am currently finalizing our Social Media Content Strategy based on our weekly Marketing meeting discussions. Take a peek at the draft on Charmverse here. A big shoutout also to Jonathan and Ceci for developing a social media coordination sheet for our cross-platform posting work.

• Social Media Takeovers:
  Exciting news—our social media platforms are buzzing with new energy! Ceci is taking over X (formerly Twitter), Jonathan is rocking LinkedIn, Wonderwomancode is championing BlueSky, and I am exploring TikTok in collaboration with PostArchitekt. Let’s show them some love as they spread the word about Unlock Protocol far and wide!
