Unlock Creator Season 1: The Locksmiths Who Showed Up

Some campaigns are about the numbers. Others are about the people who actually show up. Unlock Creator Season 1/3 was a little bit of both.

For the first Unlock Protocol DAO campaign with Incented, we asked the community to do something simple: take a few seconds and explain what Unlock is, who it is for, and what people can actually build with it.

Memberships, event tickets, subscriptions. More ways for creators and communities to connect with their audience through smart contracts.

And guess what, the Locksmiths showed up.

We saw different ideas, different styles, different ways of explaining the same protocol. Some went through the funny route. Some went straight to the point. Some found their own way to make Unlock easier to understand.

That was the whole point of the campaign.

It wasn’t about everyone making the same type of content. It was about taking the idea of Unlock and making it understandable to someone who might be hearing about it for the first time.

And that deserves a proper thank you.

So, to everyone who picked up their phone, opened their camera, wrote a script, made a meme, recorded a voiceover, edited a video, or simply took the time to participate:

Thank you.

A big shoutout to:

You each brought something different to the table, and that is what made the campaign fun to watch.

There was also another side to the campaign that deserves some love: the voters. Creating the content is one part of the process. Watching submissions, thinking about what works, and taking the time to vote is another.

That community participation matters. Because at the end of the day, this was never just about making a few videos. It was about helping more people understand Unlock.

It was about showing that you don’t need to be a massive creator to contribute. You just need an idea, a little creativity, and the willingness to put it out there.

Season 1/3 gave us exactly that.

Different people, different voices, one protocol. To every Locksmith who participated, watched, shared, voted, supported, or encouraged a creator along the way:

We see you. We appreciate you. And this is only Season 1/3. More stories. More creators. More ways to explain what Unlock makes possible.

Until then, keep creating, keep experimenting, and keep showing people what can be built when access is truly programmable.

Big love to every Locksmith who showed up.
